There are still cases of
Plague appearing around the world every day. “On July 1, 2010, eight cases of
Bubonic Plague had been reported in humans in the District of Chicarra, Peru.”
(“Plague” (disease) Wikiepedia) Among the eight people diagnosed were a 32 year
old male. There were also four girls and three boys ranging from eight to
fourteen years old who were also diagnosed. After these cases, the local
authority took the necessary actions to help stop the spread of the disease.
Local animals were given anti-flea medications. These animals include 1,210
guinea pigs, 232 dogs, 128 cats, and 73 rabbits. (“Plague” (disease) Wikipedia)
